Active Army to Reserve

Are you serving in the Active Army and transitioning in the next 12 months?

There are many opportunities for you to serve part-time in the Army Reserve while still enjoying the comforts of living a life at home in your local community!

You can visit the "Enlisted Careers" and "Officer Careers" sections of this site to view the many MOS/AOCs available to serve but don't let that limit you! There are also many immaterial (00G/01A) positions across the country allowing you to serve in a broadening assignment without needing to reclass/rebranch!

Want more incentive? There are multiple large cash bonuses available for both officer and enlisted Soldiers who agree to make a three-year commitment to serve in the Army Reserve! 

Lastly, enlisted Soldiers who have not completed their initial eight-year commitments have the additional opportunity to do a "try-one" which allows you to serve one year in the Army Reserve to make sure it's a good fit. If after the year it's not for you, you can easily return to the Army IRR. If you decide to stay you will already be in your reenlistment window to reenlist for a bonus if your MOS is offered one!
